The Factor Game — Play the Game

A game for 2 players — read How to Play, then use the board and scorepad below. Highest total wins.

  1. How to play

    1. Pick an open number and circle it — you score that many points.
    2. Your partner marks every factor (or divisor) of it that is still open and scores their sum.
    3. A pick is only legal if it still has at least one open factor — so a prime works only as a first move.
    4. Take turns being the chooser. Cross out each number as it is used.
    5. When no legal move is left, total each player’s points. Highest total wins.
