What Is Left Over? — Array Model

Each full row of the array holds one group. Count the full rows and the left-over dots, then complete the division and the check equation, and compare the left-over with the number of columns using <, > or =.

Example
23 ÷ 4 = 5 R 3
Check: 23 = 4 × 5 + 3
Remainder = 3 < number of columns = 4
