Convert Units by Ratio Reasoning

Convert each measurement.

ExampleA rope measures 8 feet.
Use the rate 12 inches per feet to convert it to inches. Show the units in your working. Write the conversion as a ratio and multiply so the old unit cancels:
8 feet × 12 inches⁄1 feet = 96 inches.
The feet cancel because they appear on the top and the bottom, which is how you can tell the ratio is the right way up. Flipping it would give feet² ÷ inches, which is not a length at all.
