Measure Volume by Counting Cubes

Each cube is one cubic unit of the size named in the problem. Count the cubes — count one layer, then multiply by the number of layers — and write the volume with that unit.

Example
Each cube is 1 cubic unit.
Volume = 12 cubic units

    Each cube is 1 cubic foot.
    Volume = ft³

    Each cube is 1 cubic centimeter.
